CANCELLATION POLICY

Appointment, Cancellation & Practice Policies At Reconnect Massage Therapy, I value your time and appreciate the opportunity to support your health and well-being. To ensure I can provide quality care to all clients and maintain a consistent schedule, please review the following policies before your appointment. 1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the scheduled session price. This policy allows me the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another client. Because your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, late cancellations and rescheduling requests affect my ability to accommodate other clients. To cancel or reschedule, please call or text 817-841-9960 or email **info@reconnect-massage.com**. Please wait for confirmation that your request has been received and processed. 2. Late Arrival Policy Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment to ensure you receive the full benefit of your session. If you arrive late, your session will not be extended beyond the originally scheduled appointment time. If sufficient time remains, your session will proceed within the remaining time available. Regardless of your arrival time, you will be responsible for the full payment of your originally scheduled session. Arriving late does not entitle you to an extension or a reduction in the session price. If you arrive so late that there is insufficient time to provide your scheduled session, your appointment will be considered forfeited, and you will be responsible for 100% of the scheduled session fee. Late arrival does not entitle you to a refund, credit, or rescheduled session. Thank you for respecting your appointment time and allowing me to provide consistent care to all clients. 3. No-Show Policy Failure to arrive for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled session fee. No-shows prevent other clients from using the reserved appointment time and affect the availability of future appointments. If you are unable to attend, please contact me as soon as possible. I appreciate your consideration and understanding. 4. Prepaid Packages & Sessions Cancellation, rescheduling, late arrival, and no-show policies apply to appointments booked using prepaid sessions or massage packages. Late cancellations and rescheduling: Applicable fees equal to 100% of the scheduled session price and will be deducted from the remaining prepaid package balance or treated as payment for the scheduled prepaid session, as applicable. No-shows: The scheduled prepaid session may be forfeited. Late arrivals: The session will end at the originally scheduled time, and the full session value will apply. Unused sessions: Refunds, transfers, and expiration of prepaid packages are subject to the terms provided at the time of purchase and applicable law. Please contact me if you have questions about your remaining package balance or the terms of your prepaid sessions. 5. Illness & Health Considerations To help maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone, please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, such as fever, vomiting, or other symptoms that may make receiving massage inappropriate. If you become ill before your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss your options. Please also inform me of any significant changes in your health, injuries, medications, or other conditions that may affect your massage session. Accurate health information helps me determine the most appropriate and safe approach to your care. 6. Emergencies & Unexpected Circumstances I understand that unexpected situations and emergencies can occur. If an emergency arises and you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. I will consider the circumstances and do my best to accommodate your situation. Please note that emergency-related exceptions are considered at my discretion and are not automatically guaranteed. 7. Therapist-Initiated Cancellations Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may require me to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If I need to make a scheduling change, I will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find another appointment time. If a prepaid service cannot be provided, any applicable refund or credit will be handled in accordance with the terms of purchase and applicable law. 8. Payment Policy Clients are responsible for the full cost of their scheduled services, including appointments shortened due to late arrival. Any applicable cancellation or no-show fees will be communicated in accordance with these policies. Please contact me if you have questions about payment arrangements before your appointment. 9. Professional Conduct & Boundaries Reconnect Massage Therapy is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for every client. All massage services are strictly professional and therapeutic. Inappropriate behavior, sexual comments or advances, or requests for services outside the professional scope of massage therapy will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a session if a client's behavior, safety concerns, or other circumstances make it inappropriate or unsafe to continue. 10. Client Acknowledgment By scheduling an appointment with Reconnect Massage Therapy, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these policies and agree to the applicable cancellation, rescheduling, late arrival, and no-show fees.
